March 14, 2012Using Statistical Modeling to Evaluate Tobacco Control Efforts (3:27)
In this video, Dr. Eric "Rocky" Feuer discusses a paper in which he and colleagues supported by the National Cancer Institute used statistical modeling to assess the impact of tobacco control. They found that twentieth-century tobacco control programs and policies were responsible for preventing more than 795,000 lung cancer deaths in the United States from 1975 through 2000.
